August Plein Rain Show

There will be a show of Plein Air paintings at the Franklin Street Gallery (Baranof Hotel) in August 2011. I will have three prints I made from paintings I made during a plein air workshop in June. Kes Woodward at the invitation of the the local Plein Rain painting group taught a workshop in June. It was great fun.

Come to the opening on 1st Friday in August.

I will be teaching a workshop on:

Embossing Into Clay with David Riccio Tuesdays, Oct 7-28 (4 weeks)

Combine carving and pottery in this class. David Riccio will lead students in carving into linoleum and embossing images into clay in the first three classes. Pieces will be fired and students return to hand glaze in the fourth session. It is helpful to bring a design to the first class (but not necessary). $125 (includes all materials, glazing & firing).
